The development of advanced instrumentation is a key element and an originality of EMC³’s research expertise and constitutes the basis of the project of a unique instrumental platform of international recognition. The focus is on the development and implementation of new techniques as well as on the in-situ coupling of different material analysis techniques, the operational control of catalysis and the in-situ diagnosis of combustion and plasmas. This platform is strongly involved in the numerous interactions between the EMC³ laboratories.
