Clean and efficient energy systems

By using the complementarity and competences of EMC³ in fluid mechanics, combustion, catalysis, the project will generate cutting-edge academic knowledge to develop new technologies for the energy transition towards safe, clean and efficient energy systems: renewable energies and associated energy storage, energy carriers (alternative fuels), capture of CO2 from combustion, reuse of CO2. The “Clean and Efficient Energy Systems” perspectives cover all phases of energy conversion, fuel synthesis, mixing, chemical reaction and heat transfer through theoretical, experimental and numerical analyses.
