Multiple geophysical and social pressures are forcing a transition from fossil fuels to renewable and sustainable energy sources complementary to the nuclear industry. To achieve this transition, materials that support these emerging technologies must be developed. EMC³ is active in this field, focusing on its areas of excellence.
